So the first thing that's fresh on my mind: AUSA WAS THIS PAST WEEKEND AND I ROCKED IT. It has been a LONG while for me since I have had a convention that I actually felt was worth going to and I am so glad this one came along. I don't even know where to start! I was in stage in my first masquerade ever. The skit has been captured by acparadise and all I do is play a zombie and eat Kanye West... Obvisouley haha. SKIT IS HERE: [link] . I think you have to log in to view it now... lame.
I also did some epic photoshoots with Corey
Also as for costumes, I only brought out a few (more like 2 haha) for this con. I wanted to take it easy because I hate lugging around heavy bags by myself lol. I had RE2 Claire and a half-assed version of Zoey from Left 4 Dead. When I say half-assed I mean the only thing I didn't have was the holster lol. I had made one but it didn't fit my gun so I decided to go without at the last minute. I had made a formal version of Jill for the Ball they had going on, but didn't even get to wear it because we were too busy to go to it. Plus the Resident Evil photoshoot was kinda at the same time lol. You can see where my priorities are.
I'll be doing a photoshoot of my own when I can get a hold of a decent holster and possibly a better colored track jacket. I was very happy with the costume though, I love how comfortable and not cold it was for a (practically) winter con.
For real life stuff... HELL YES COMCAST TRIPPLE PLAY. I am sitting in my room right now as I type this, not curled in a kitched chair sitting close to the wall stealing internet from the neighbors. It feels amazing! Oh and TV, don't get me started. I don't care what you all think, there is nothing in the world better than sitting infront of that thing and watching hours and hours of ghost hunters and futurama and family guy and doctor who and IT GOES ON.
School stuff... I love being a film major, I really do. I just need actors! I've got to haul ass this weekend to get at least two projects done for class. It's actually a lot of work but I can definatley do it. I just need my partner to like help out... Thanks Towson University, you're going to stick me into a group of 2 when everyone else is in 3 and even I know more about film than my partner does... He doesn't even know how to put something on youtube. But I did officially direct and produce my first film and I love it! It's only a short comedy but as soon as I can figure out how to go from DV tape (which is what we printed it on) to my laptop, without a deck it will be on youtube.
Hmm I think this is all for now. Next convention is Katsucon, which is still in a few months but I have started planning for already. Ohh and update on RE movie, it's still going on strong I swear! A good bit of our cast was actually at AUSA haha. We're trying to set film dates sometime soon and get this thing done. Aaaand I'm done. Expect new photos from me soon, they will probably be stolen from Corey, but they'll be epic!
